Spring is coming! We are ready for the warmer weather, and I'm sure many of you are too. Nicer weather means more time spent outside attending local free family friendly events. Because we love our Community First Seawalk Music Festival, we have decided to expand our support to become the official banking partner of all of the Jax Beach Festivals and bring three more festivals under our sponsorship. The next one is the Sweet Life Music Festival on March 7!
That's not the only great springtime event we have coming our way. Every Wednesday is UNF Market Days and March 11th is a very special Market Dayzzz as it falls on National Napping Day, which will help us all catch up on our sleep from springing forward with daylight savings time. If we happen to have some Spring showers, that’s okay. You can head indoors to a Jacksonville Icemen hockey game, or see a local show at the Florida Theatre.
On a more serious, but nonetheless exciting note, we will be hosting an Investment Services Seminar that features an in-depth look at planning and paying for Long-Term Care. Our Annual Meeting at our Corporate Headquarters is also this month, and as a member of your cooperative credit union, I encourage you to attend. We'll be celebrating all the successes and accomplishments of 2019.
While this month is very action packed, we have many more exciting events planned for April as well. Coming up will be the Clay County Fair, Springing the Blues Music Festival, and of course you won't want to miss our Spring Car Sale on April 4.
We have much more in store for this year, and we cannot wait to share it with you. ■
