A letter from our CEO, John Hirabayashi
Dear Valued Member,
As we begin the month of April, the amount of disruption created by COVID-19 is staggering unlike anything we’ve experienced before. The cumulative stress created by job losses, concerns over the spread of the virus, and disruption to daily routines are testing the limits for all of us. As we all face these difficult times, please know that the credit union’s top priority is taking care of our members and doing whatever we can to help ease the burden. With the challenges of this new world we live in, we have had to modify our operations in many different ways, including closing our lobbies and moving branch office operations to drive-thru only. I’d like to thank both our members and employees for their patience and support as we adapt to our new way of doing business.
Please take a few minutes to read the information contained in this newsletter about our special pandemic assistance programs to help you through this crisis. These programs include loan payment deferrals up to 90 days for mortgage and consumer loans, as well as a special Pandemic Assistance Loan. We are also keeping a close eye on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to identify ways we can help in making it easier for you to access these programs.
At Community First we know we’re all stronger when we work together. To have some fun and strengthen our commitment to members and community we’ve teamed up with our longtime partner, the First Coast YMCA, to provide a little relaxation and diversion during this time. Join us on Facebook as we launch a month-long series of FREE community events. In a time that is challenging for us all, we hope you enjoy these programs.

It’s easy to join the fun and anyone can attend simply by liking the Community First Facebook Page (like our page to get a notification).
