Fraud Alert:
Scammers are impersonating trusted organizations to steal personal and financial information through a tactic called Smishing. These fraudulent text messages often create urgency, demanding immediate payment and directing you to fake websites. Recently, a surge of spam messages has been posing as SunPass, falsely claiming overdue toll payments and threatening to revoke driver’s licenses if left unpaid. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from SunPass, do not click any links and log in directly to your SunPass account to verify any outstanding payments.

Jacksonville’s popular Music & Art Festival, Amplified Avondale, is in full swing, bringing music, art, and energy to the Historic Avondale area every last Friday of the month from 6 PM to 9:30 PM along St. John’s Avenue.

The LJD Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS) provides high-quality social and community services to support individuals and families throughout all stages of life. With a legacy spanning over 100 years and guided by Jewish values, JFCS offers assistance to children, adults, seniors, and families facing life’s challenges.
Our volunteers was fortunate to assist in the JFCS food pantry, helping to sort and pack food for distribution. Their efforts contributed to the organization's mission of providing essential resources to the community.
