Today is the day! Stuff the Bus is officially back.
We’ll be collecting school supplies from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (August 1st) at The Markets at Town Center and Staples in Orange Park to help local students start the school year prepared and confident.
Every donation helps. Whether you drop off supplies in person or give online, you’re making a difference. You can also text CLASSROOMS25 to 30306 to donate.

Tools 4 Schools
Community First is proud to support Tools 4 Schools, a program by INK! that helps reduce the nearly $900 teachers spend out-of-pocket each year on classroom supplies. This initiative ensures St. Johns County educators have access to the resources they need, and that every student is equipped to succeed.
Now through August 31st, our St. Johns branches (Murabella, St. Augustine and Beachwalk locations) will be accepting school supply donations to support this important effort.
Thanksgiving Day Race
One of Jacksonville’s favorite traditions is back! The 42nd annual Community First Thanksgiving Distance Classic features a Half Marathon, 5K, and One-Mile Turkey Trot. It’s a fun way for the whole family to start the holiday, plus, your participation helps support the Mandarin Food Bank, with $1 from each entry going directly to their mission.

Blues, Brews, Bourbon & BBQ
Get ready for a sizzling summer favorite! Blues, Brews, Bourbon & BBQ brings together Jacksonville’s top BBQ—wings, pulled pork, brisket, and more—paired with unlimited samples of local craft beer and bourbon, all set to the sounds of live blues music all night long.
Proceeds from this flavorful event support the nonprofit Florida Theatre Performing Arts Center, helping keep the arts alive in our community.
Grab a Bite at the Community First Igloo
We're excited to welcome Front Runners Taphouse, a fresh take on the neighborhood sports bar, now open inside the Community First Igloo. With a modern vibe and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a solo bite or stop by for a hockey watch party.

Micah's Place
Our Community First team had the privilege of volunteering at the Purple Dove Resale Center, where every donation and purchase directly supports survivors through Micah's Place, the only certified domestic violence center in Nassau County, FL.
We spent the afternoon sorting through clothing and household item donations and lending a helping hand!
